Ethiopia Sidamo Oromia comes from the birthplace of coffee itself — the Sidama Zone of southern Ethiopia, where wild Coffea arabica trees have grown for over a thousand years. “Oromia” refers to the regional cooperative union that represents over 200,000 smallholder farmers across Ethiopia’s most celebrated growing zones. This coffee is grown at extraordinary altitudes in a region of dense forests, ancient heirloom varieties, and generations of traditional farming knowledge that simply cannot be replicated anywhere else on earth.
