Hand-roasted in small 5-pound batches at our Tower Grove South roastery, then flavored with our take on classic buttery toffee and toasted nut. Air roasting gives us a clean, even base — no scorching, no bitter edge — which means the natural sweetness of the coffee actually complements the toffee-and-nut flavors rather than fighting them. Tastes like dessert without crossing into syrupy territory. Pairs especially well with cream. A longtime Hartford favorite.

Air roasting suspends the beans on a bed of hot air, roasting them evenly from every angle without the scorching or smoky char of traditional drum roasters. This blend is hard to describe accurately. It’s peanut-y, but not in an overpowering way. It just tastes clean and refreshing. This is an excellent coffee to use as a Turkish coffee or if you want to do a dessert coffee that has better flair than just plain roasts. It’s definitely worth savoring every time you brew it.
