Kenya Peaberry is one of the rarest and most prized coffees in the world. While most coffee cherries contain two flat-sided beans, a peaberry forms when only a single, round bean develops inside the cherry — concentrating all the nutrients and flavor into one. Less than 5% of any coffee harvest produces peaberries, making each bag a genuine specialty.
Tasting Notes: Crisp and bold with complex layers of dark fruit, dried cherry, and a wine-like brightness. Underneath sits a rich nuttiness with a long, lingering finish that coffee lovers remember. Medium-high acidity with a full, satisfying body.
Best Brewed As: Pour-over or Chemex to highlight the bright acidity and fruit notes. Also exceptional as a drip coffee. Use a medium grind and water at 200°F for best results.
